We had 4 bad leaks around 2 windows when the seal gave way then ripped bigger. So I drained the water below the windows, and used Loctite PL Marine Agglutinative Sealant. It formed a watertight seal and has not leaked yet. Using a platic putty knife, I spread it on the inside and out (out every bit a but in case), and allow it cure for the 24 hour catamenia. Merely brand certain to spread it at least an inch (or ii would be better) effectually the leak in all directions and let it dry out. We tried patches, flex tape, gorilla tape and others. All garbage under water! Utilize Loctite and protect your investment!

I bought mine in June of last year and I did not buy a warranty. I was able to call Walmart and get the receipt. I and so went on Bestway website and started a claim. You will demand receipt, batch number off of pool and a picture of the leaky window/s. I submitted the claim yesterday and got an email today saying the claim was approved...YAY... I think because it is a manufacturers defect they will replace it without you having a warranty... Worth a try...It is the aforementioned puddle liner, but they are challenge the problem has been stock-still...

Well, just thought I would share this here since this is the commencement thread that pops up when searched on google. PL loctite marine sealant is a lifesaver, nevertheless, you would take to but keep applying and waiting for new leaks. The seal betwixt the windows and the vinyl cant accept the pressure on the sides of the windows, in particular... I took four inch ratchet straps (preferably, but small ones will work in a pinch) and wrapped them around the whole pool. Just forth the bottom and the tops of the windows. I was afraid to put them directly on where it seems to be letting go. Tighten them plenty to take pressure off the windows, allow the ratchet straps hold the pressure instead of the vinyl/windows. Come up with some "pillows" to put between any metallic/precipitous parts of the straps, so they dont wear a whole in the vinyl.

I go the feeling that windows in a vinyl pool are a terrible thought. Crazy no one tested this long enough to find the problems. In that location's clearly something very different between vinyl that you can encounter through and the vinyl used for the pools. Information technology doesn't appear they work well together at seams. The pools all take seams that stand up to time and water only fine however. Sorry to hear yous all are having such problems.
